Dr. Betty Szyngiel graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2000. She is originally from Pierrefonds, Quebec (a suburb of Montreal). She came to the Ottawa Veterinary Hospital in January of 2002 after working in a mixed animal practice in Carleton Place, Ontario.Dr. Szyngiel enjoys playing volleyball and tennis, riding horses, downhill skiing and making a general nuisance of herself (her words not ours!).
Her furry masters include three cats (Sydney, Willa and Sunshine) and two dogs (Holly and Archie).
